What is the NDIS?

The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) is an independent statutory agency. Their role is to implement the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), designed to help improve disability services and provide greater control and decision making to Australians with disability.

You may be eligible to receive support through the NDIA, such as help to purchase disability support services, aids, and equipment from a variety of providers. Any support provided will depend on your individual circumstances.
